In the beginning I wanted to call this subsection with only one word – “Mistakes”. But then I decided that this title is unoptimistic and preferred the inspirational one – “Teachers”.
In this subsection I will list different mistakes that I made: on quizzes, on exams, in conversations with people, in the choice of the direction and so on, and so on, and so forth.
Of course, at this moment when looking at these mistakes I don’t know how I was able to do them. But if I did, then I did. And I’m glad that these mistakes encourage me to continue to grow further. Someone would probably think that reasons of most of mistakes are inattentiveness, haste and lack of appropriate thinking. But these are all excuses that prevent you from growing, rising and going on. If you don’t accept your mistake, it can not become your teacher. If you close your eyes, not noticing it, you remain blind and it will chase you again and again. But if one day you naturally and seemingly unintentionally discard your arrogant thoughts of self, something new will arise in your being, in your existence.
In this subsection I will not even mention what I did right. What I did right is not interesting, I can not discover something really powerful, really beautiful in what I did right, because it is not strange, unknown, on the contrary, it’s old, familiar and stable. I can not also say that I do all the significant and the most difficult problems right, so my mistakes in useless obscure details in considered-as-easy problems is not of big importance. I can not say because there are not unimportant details and you can not be considered as a professional if you do mistakes in elementary operations regardless of your success in dealing with big tasks.
In immature readers my mistakes may cause the strengthening of ego, and this is undesirable by-product. You can sarcastically sneer at my silly mistakes, make fun of them, think of myself as a fool. But it does not change anything. My mistakes is a part of my existential experience, of the process of continual growth, and I thank to them for their ability to make you heavenly dissatisfied, they give your ignorance of the new dimension that was unknown before.
The goals
In fact, the goal can not be manyfold. This case is not the exception: the purpose is only one, and it is stated in the title of this website. To express myself honestly. However, to put things simple, I think it will be useful to extend my general goal to several more specific ones. So, the purposes of this subsection are:
To highlight some of my mistakes in order to avoid them in the future
To realize in practice the famous maxim of Lao Tzu: “Have a little thought of self and as less desires as possible”
To be sincerely laughed at, to be thought as a fool. I’m often very ironic to myself and like to be treated unseriously and joyfully
